TGIF!!!!! I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm so ready for the weekend to begin!! I made this birthday card for my son last night for his special day today. Being that he's a boy, I didn't want anything fancy or flowery of course. I just heat embossed a sentiment from a rock/grunge stamp set all across the card for a background, stamped a star from the same stamp set, used numerals from a Martha Stewart stamp set, SU Curly Cute stamp set, circle and scallop punch and Not Quite Navy SU card stock.
I started scrapbooking in 2006 and over the last few years have learned different techniques from so many crafty people out there!! I love creating memories in scrapbooks or just making someone's day with a homemade card that is created with love. If you see anything you like in my posts, feel free to contact me and I will be happy to try to replicate it. Happy Stamping!!

Card and Mini Album
Happy Monday! I wanted to share with everyone the card I made for my dad. My mom has been having health issues for 2 months now and will be having surgery in 2 weeks. It has taken a toll on my dad taking care of her and worrying about her. I normally make my mom a card every week but this week it's my dad's turn. It's a simple masculine card that I made with only patterned paper scraps, and a stamped sentiment.
I made this mini album for my sisters bridal shower gift so she can put pictures of that special day. Hope you enjoy!

Bridal Shower Thank You Cards
I decided to make my sister bridal shower thank you cards at the last minute. And it was literally last minute like at 10 p.m. last night. I enjoyed every minute of it though. I finished at midnight and boy am I paying for it today!! I used the scraps from her bridal shower invitations and her wedding invitations.

Bridal Shower Favors
Good morning everyone. I finished a few projects I had been working on the past couple of days. The favors are Knotts Berry Farm 1 oz. Marmalade jars. I covered them with my own labels, inked them with Tangerine Tango, and ribbon from local Joanne's store.
I added a small paper flower with a silver brad at the last minute. I like it, it give it that extra little something.
Next is the cups. I bought them at Walmart and jazzed them up just a bit so they are not so boring. I printed everyones names on pc and punched out with SU word window punch and popped them with dimensionals on SU modern label punch. I also adhered what is my version of doves using SU bird punch. I used rhinestones for the eyes and inked them with bashful blue.
These napkins were also purchased at Walmart. I just ran them through my Vagabond Machine using SU Manghattan Flower embossing folder to give them a more elegant look.

Just Because Card
I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. I was so busy getting ready for my daughters surprise birthday party as well as finishing my sisters wedding invitations and getting ready for her bridal shower too. I normally make my mom a card every week and even though I was tired, I made this one for her. I'm not happy with this one but my mom doesn't know the difference, she is just happy that I send her a card every week because I love her. So don't judge me too hard everyone!!!!

Wedding Invitation
It's almost Friday everyone!! I hope everyone is revved up for the long weekend!! I want to share with you today the wedding invitations I made for my sister. She's having a very simple wedding ceremony and reception. She only wanted a cream color so I popped the second piece up with dimensionals. Of course she wanted shells on it since it's a beach wedding. I punched the corners and added pearl accents. I used SU Close to Cocoa and Always Artichoke for the stamped image. Give me your feedback on this. Thanks for looking!!!
