So last week, I made my stepdaughters treats and yesterday I finished my stepson Isaac's classroom treats.  These are so easy to make and so fast to mass produce.  I used a few different pieces of designer paper.  I can't remember the name of the collection but it's from Recollections.   I finished them in a blink of an eye.  I got this idea from youtube.  Her user name is Juliedavisoncom.

I made this printer tray for my daughter for her birthday.  I added a photo of her beautiful children and my adorable grandchildren.  This Halloween printers tray kit was free when you signed up as a new deomonstrator with Stampin Up! for the month of August and half of September.  I gave my daughter her gift earlier today and she loved it!  My 2nd project was an order of baptism invitations.  I love the colors I used and my customer loved the final result!!

My sister Trisha's 1 year anniversary is coming up on the 15th and my niece's birthday is tomorrow.  For my niece I made a Halloween Birthday card.  She is nuttso for Halloween.  I think she will absolutely love it!!  For my sister I wanted a soft look so I opted out of using bling (which I love to use on all my cards and projects).  Now I will need to work on an anniversary card for my parents which is the 13th and then I get to have some fun altering 4 coffins for my grandson's teachers.  Such fun!!!

Today is my only son's 18th birthday.  I can't believe how time flies.  It just seems like yesterday when he was born.  We celebrated by having a barbecue of spare ribs, hot links and boneless chicken accompanied by some spanish rice, black bean and corn salad, homemade salsa and are you ready for this.......some homemade flour tortillas which his nana made him (my mom).  We will continue with dessert a little later when we have digested everything.  My son Pablo can't wait for White cake, whip cream and strawberries.  Yummy!!!!  I made these birthday cards for him.  The left one is from me and the right one will be from my mom.

Cancer Free Anniversary Card

It's Saturday night and I was only able to create one card today.  But......it's a card that I am really happy with.  I made this for my mom.  I moved on September 1st this month and with the commotion of moving it completely escaped me that her anniversary of being cancer free was the same day.  I realized I had let all this time go about a few days ago.  I am so glad I made the time to make her this card in honor of that special milestone.  It is also in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness next month.  I will give it to her tomorrow.  I can't wait to see what she thinks of her card!!

Black and White Vintage Wedding Invitation

Hi everyone.  In the midst of finishing up birthday party invitations, I also had to get a sample wedding invitation done for someone.  I wasn't crazy about the font of the alpha stamps.  They looked so nice and vintage when I bought them but I don't like the look of them.  My customer loved the invitation!!  She requested a different font like I knew she would.  She also forgot to tell me she changed the colors of her wedding to beige and white.  So they will look different and have some cream colored lace inside instead.  I don't want to show the inside because of the personal information in it, but I heat embossed the design with silver embossing powder.

Sock Monkey Birthday Party Invitation

I got a custom order of 50 sock monkey birthday party invitations.  I will meet up with the couple today to show them the sample invitation.  I already text them the pictures of the outside and inside tag and they absolutely love the invitation!!  I'm so glad!  I won't show the inside tag because of all the info on it, but it has  a picture of their daughter that I punched out with a circle punch and then adhered that on to a scallop circle punch (Daffodil Delight).

Alas, but the weekend is over and it's back to the grind tomorrow.  I did have a productive weekend.   I finished the baby shower invitations I was working on and I also made 4 welcome back to school cards for my grandson Orlando's teachers.  I've mentioned before he is a special needs child and his class has 4 teachers for the kids.  I didn't have a Welcome Back stamp so I used a sentiment from a Stampin Up stamp set.  To go with the cards, I will be putting a nice beautiful red apple in a cellophange bag wrapped with Real Red Satin Ribbon and a tag as well.

Baby Shower Invitation

I made a sample of this last month in yellow but last week we found out that my nephew and fiance are having another boy!  So I decided to start on them.  I love this style of invitation especially for showers.  I still need to add a rhinestone in the middle of each wheel on the baby carriage and then I will be done with them.

Wedding Box Favor

I made this wedding favor sample for my daughter.  The wedding isn't until next year but I'm getting a big head start as I will also be doing the save the dates, bridal shower invitations, bridal shower favors, wedding invitations, wedding favors, table cards and helping with the center pieces.  I sent her a picture and it's pretty right on with what her theme is.  The only thing I will change is the paper.  I will use a solid light yellow card stock (I just used what I had on hand to make it so she could get an idea of what I was talking about).  I  also will not use the scalloped circle for the "window".  I will use a label framelit instead.  I will be going to her house today so she can see it in person but so far, it's a yes!!  There will be a clear cellophane bag that will go inside which will hold white chocolate seashells with iridescent sprinkles to give it a pearlish type luster.  The bag will be tied with turquoise ribbon and a tag with the newlyweds names and date which will hang from the ribbon.  It's an exciting time!!

Good afternoon and Happy Sunday.  The weekend went by so fast and I'm exhausted from so much running around.  I'm happy though that I was productive.  I made a birthday card for my husband's niece Desiree whose birthday we celebrated yesterday at the park.  I was told she loves cheetah print but hates pink so I made sure to stay away from that color.  LOL

Alice in Wonderland Invitation

Good afternoon everyone.  I received an order for some inviations for a Quincenera next month.  The birthday girl wanted Tim Burtons "White Rabbit".  I have seen this style invitation before but only as a flat invitation.  I made mine a card style where you open it.  I didn't use the traditional "Q" for the "Queen of Hearts".  I used a whimsical "Q" because after all, this IS Alice in Wonderland.  I used SU heart punch for the hearts which are the PERFECT size!  The customer loved the sample!  The invitations will be ready for delivery next Sunday.  Have a great week everyone!!
