Breast Cancer Awareness Card

It's Friday and I'm sooooooooo looking forward to the weekend and celebrating my grandson's birthday and spending the rest of the weekend completing a halloween album for my niece.  As everyone knows, October is the month of breast cancer awareness.  I have been so busy lately that I barely got a chance to create a card for mom.  I did it just in time before the month passed me by.  I thank God for giving me my mother and making her a survivor.  I love you mom.

Thomas the Train Invitations

I made these for my sister in law. She is having a party for her son who is turning 4 and her daughter who is turning 7. He is into Thomas the Train and she is into unicorns. My sister in law didn't want seperate invitations. My oriiginal idea was to have Thomas transporting the unicorn in one of the cars behind him. But I just couldn't find an image that would work, so I just placed the unicorn on the invitation.  My sister in law loves them.

Wedding Ornament and Anniversary Card

I can't believe it's only Tuesday.  I have so much crafting to do this week and don't know where to begin!  In the meantime though I want to share with you the wedding ornament I made for my sisters wedding.  I cut strips of the original wedding invitation and curled them around a pencil and inserted inside the clear ornament.  I added a seashell charm as she is getting married on the cliffs of the beach.  To top it off I added an ivory satin ribbon as the hanger.  Very inexpensive but yet elegant gift to give!!

Next is an anniversary card I made for my parents.  They have been married an incredible 63 years!!  I will never make it to 63 being that I started out late, but if I make it to 35 or so it will be all good!!
